About Coaching
What is coaching?
Underpinned by psychology and neuroscience, coaching is a technique designed to help individuals navigate change, boost performance, heighten awareness and find new perspectives or solutions to challenges. Coaching is based on the key principle that the person with the issue or challenge is also the person who can find the best solutions - they just need support to unlock their thinking, build awareness and the time and space to think. When choosing a coach, chemistry is fundamental. For the real magic to happen, a strong trusted relationship between coach and coachee is key.
My approach
Every coach is different - we each have different experiences, strengths, values and personalities that influence our individual coaching style. I have been given feedback from multiple clients and people that I've worked with over the years that I’m warm, authentic, caring, kind and understanding. I am an empathetic and attentive listener and quickly create strong trusted partnerships with my clients. I have studied a range of coaching modalities and tools covering Positive Psychology, NLP and Transactional Analysis.
I am also highly intuitive and use this at the heart of my coaching. I will always try to provide the right balance of support and challenge to help you move closer to your goals - whilst I am supportive, I am also action and solutions orientated. I typically suggest that we start working together for between 3-6 months to make real progress on your objectives. That said, to make coaching as accessible as possible, I also offer individual 'Power Hours' for support working on a specific small topic.
